SHEILA MATECHUK HAIR EXTENSIONS

This woman is a fraud and not a master extensionist like she claims. She did my hair extensions out of her house and put some cheap indian hair and glue in my head and said that the "strand by strand" system was the best system for my hair. Now my hair is falling out and my scalp is allergic to the glue she put in. After doing more research, I learned that she's a liar and thief and has only been doing extensions for a year and has no license to cut hair, which she did on me. Before that, she was working for a hotel company and never studied hair styling or hair extensions. She won't fix my hair or give me a refund. Stay away from her!

GODDESS EXTENSIONS BAY AREA - SHEILA MATECHUK

As I just listed at www.complaintsboard.com, Sheila Matechuk is a fraud just like many people like have Sarah claimed. I'm not a hater just a teller of the truth that knows about Sheila's skirting of many U.S. laws by not having a legitimate U.S. work visa. She is also not licensed to do hair in California, does not have product liability insurance and and has no formal hair training much less a salon license. If she is so legitimate, then she should take up Sarah's offer and prove that she has a proper visa, insurance, licensing and training. Sheila should also be willing to support her false claim about having 1,200 clients and 75 hair extensionists. If she's that legitimate, she should also be willing to show her U.S. tax returns for all the money she's making from all those clients and trainees.

Sheila started in hair extensions (after failing as a marketing consultant) by taking control of www.hairextensionsalonlocator.com then ripping code off from www.hairextensionguide.com for an upgrade to her new site. After she ripped off one legitimate businessperson, she decided to rip off another honest, licensed hair stylist and extensionist of 14 years, by illegally using the Goddess Hair Extensions name after the original founder created the system in 2001, www.goddesshairextensions.com - The best Sheila and her (phone sex operator) sister, Elena could do was register www.goddessextensions.com in April 2006 and start passing herself off as a master celebrity extensionist by lying to clients and b.s.ing across the web that she founded Goddess Hair Extensions which is an outright lie.

If Sheila is so legitimate, why doesn't she refund all the people that have complained about her low-grade Indian hair (from Giovanni and Son in Van Nuys) that she's passing off as Italian hair? In addition to her b.s. claim about 1,200 clients, she should refund $1,500 to every one of the 75 extensionists that took her worthless course which she falsely claimed would make them $125,000 per year (though you won't find that claim on her site, along with some of her disgruntled client's photos and b.s. testimonials). How could a certificate from Sheila be worth anything if was never trained or certified herself, much is licensed by the state while fraudulently using another company's name? All she's teaching are the ripped off versions of SoCap Hair Extensions and one of many different lock systems you can learn from His & Her Hair in L.A. for nothing.

Sheila's biggest farce is her self-ordained celebrity extensionist title, because she did somebody's hair that went to the King Kong premiere. She also ripped off the Pink for Hope idea from SoCap Hair Extensions, to boost sales and public relations by appearing to be a genuine and caring person. Be real careful if you're thinking of dealing with Sheila Matechuk and do your research if you're thinking of it!

Greyhound Sucks, But It's Not Their Fault

Because my train was canceled, I was again
forced upon Greyhound. The poor folks really
ran the operation as well as any set of human
beings could under the horror of the situation.

Truly, I like to travel in a class above myself.
So, when I travel by rail or by airplane, most of
the folks are several social classes above me.
This helps me not to think about the real truth
of my debased, degrading condition.

Since most of the souls that travel Greyhound
are relegated to that fate by either airplane
phobia, an inability to hold their lives together
enough to do real advance bookings, or by
sudden disasters constantly befalling them
and causing them to need to flee quickly,
cheaply and with no advance planning, we
cannot expect much from Greyhound.

In truth, the buses are not badly maintained
most of the time. And the drivers really do
their very best to control the sickly, insane
and indigent as well as they can. Furthermore,
the fares are so low that almost no one could
be so lost as to afford not to travel to practically
anywhere their buses go. And the station
operators are practically like saints in an
Emergency Room in a default City Hospital
on a Saturday night. How they maintain their
calm and their poise, while at the same time
surviving on whatever little wages they get,
well, I shall never know.

They truly did their best, and yet, I admit
that most of the hours on that bus were agony.
You had the usual contingent of ex-felon fat
moms with no teeth carrying screaming future-
criminal babies. And then you had the ex-con
itinerant drywall and house-painter crowd
mixed in with mental patients actually more
psychotic than me. And still others too fat
to afford to buy two plane seats, (which
the airlines now require), the sort who risk
death by sleep apnea and who snore like
bulls before a death charge. Then you've
got the urban hip-hopper nobodies whose
sole claim is that they listen to stinky music
and have ruined their bodies with old tatoos
already faded out with age, which they somehow
make up for by changing the focus to faces
that are never shaved and beards with food
stuck in them.

Again, I can't actually criticize these people
when, in truth, I am either as bad off as they,
or really far worse off than they, and when I
I have finally been reduced to utter discredited
penury myself. My only gripe against Greyhound
is simply that when I travel with them, I must face
the horror of myself and my reality, and I truly
always want to escape that and surround myself
with the strong and healthy sorts so I can fool
myself just for a moment into believing I'm
semi-valid.

God bless Greyhound. They do more than
could ever be asked, and they do it with no
government subsidy, which is a miracle, given
their low fares. I don't see how they maintain
that massive employee base and huge
infrastructure and still get people going
hundreds or thousands of miles on just like
a few pennies of fare money with no help
from the Feds. God bless em, but it sucks
anyway.

Best Buy Lost My Laptop

I am trying to spread the word:

Best buy is being sued for millions for loosing a lap top, probably more to make a point than anything. Read the story here: http://redtape.msnbc.com/2008/02/a-lost-laptop-a.html#posts

I have searched the internet and found many stories of Best Buy customer abuse. Here is ours. Please excuse any typos.

Before the start of law school I purchased a Gateway laptop at a Best Buy on the advice of a salesperson there. Last November the laptop had so many problems that I had to replace it. I visited the same store and the salesperson told me that Gateways were poor computers. This annoyed me, but I purchased a fairly expensive Sony Vaio because of the company’s reputation. At the end of December I noticed that it had a cracked screen, so my fiancé took it into another location of Best Buy to have it repaired on December 30th. He had a few runarounds with them the facts of which I am not certain. Then I received a call from Best Buy (it was an automated message) that my laptop was ready to be picked up. We drove to the store and the laptop was unrepaired. It took them forever to find the laptop, and then they told us that we had refused the estimate. This is completely untrue and in fact we had never received a phone call from them at all until the one notifying us to pick the laptop up.

My fiancé was very frustrated because, in part, of his recent issues with the company relating to this repair, so he asked to see a store manager. He had dealt with the repairs division manager before and that was not helpful to him at all. A manager came over and he was very rude. The staff rolled their eyes at me when I was signing the new repair order because I actually read what it said. Then when they printed out a contract to give us it was pretty much blank because the printer was out of ink. When we complained and asked for a readable copy we were made to feel like we were being ridiculous and were told that they could not print us a clear copy because they had no ink!

A few weeks later I received an automated message from Best Buy that said that the laptop would be shipped back via UPS within 5 business days. I assumed that this meant shipped back to Best Buy since that was the agreement and at no point was shipping to my house ever discussed. On Monday my fiancé called Best Buy and again they could not find the laptop. Getting fed up with Best Buy he called the corporate customer care line and spoke to a representative. She was helpful to a point and filed an official complaint against the store itself (or so she said) but then she started trying to tell my fiancé since they shipped it to Sony we had to take it up with Sony as they were liable. He asked for a supervisor and put me on the phone. The supervisor again tried to tell me that Sony was liable, but then I explained that I did not think so, we had left the laptop in their care, I have no agreement with Sony. Then she said something like, “of course”, which makes me wonder if she was deliberately trying to trick me. She asked what I wanted and I told her that I wanted my repaired computer as soon as possible and if they could not do that I wanted another of the same make, year and model. She said the latter was out of the question and went to see where the computer actually was. When she came back on the line she said that according to the tracking number she had, Sony had shipped it via Federal Express and it was delivered on the 8th. I told her that was unacceptable: shipping to my home made no sense as the repair bill was over $600 (she agreed that made no sense), that shipping to my house was never discussed and never even mentioned and it goes against their regular business practice, that I never had anything shipped here because I live in a city row home, and that no package was received. She said she would try to find a solution for me and get back to me in 24 hours.

I never received a phone call from her so 48 hours later I phoned the corporate customer service number. I spoke at first to a new service representative and she could not find ANY record of any of my dealings with them on this mater no matter how she searched. The supervisor was not available as she was “helping another customer”. I was transferred into her voicemail and left her a lengthy message. Now it is February 22 and I have not yet received a return phone call. I am trying to let as many people as I can know about this.

There are so many problems with the company’s story: I received the phone call about delivery after the 8th and from the company, even though the company made it sound as if Sony unilaterally decided to mail the laptop to me. She had a tracking number all along and still behaved as though she didn’t know what was going on or where my laptop is, and I was on the phone with her for almost an hour. She seems to have known that I shouldn’t have to deal with Sony, she did not return my call, she was not available to talk, and the records of all of this have “disappeared”.
Don’t shop at Best Buy!

Bargainland

I purchased a Tektronix curve tracer from Bargainland based on their ad photo that showed a curve tracer with a picture tube. The ad claimed the curve tracer had a value of $1,232. The tracer was listed as an "as-is" item which I have no problem with. When the tracer arrived it was missing the picture tube. However the small dings on the tracer I received matched those in the ad photo so it seems Bargainland must have dropped the tracer and smashed the picture tube after taking its photo and before sending it to me. The tracer was well packed and there was no broken glass in the package.
When contacted Bargainland said the deal was "as-is" but clearly they operated on an "as-was" basis with me. Their ads promise to refund the purchase price AND shipping costs if the item received differs significantly from the ad. Missing a picture tube is a significant
difference! Nonetheless Rargainland refused to compensate me. They did offer a $15 credit on future auctions but this is small compense for a $85 curve tracer that is now worthless. Bargainland has refused to even discuss this matter with me. Neither ebay or paypal would help even though their policies say they will not tolerate this sort of thing.
Thus, when dealing with Bargainland (or ebay or paypal!), caveat emptor.

Does Comcast Suck Or What?

Just passing on a note that I'm bailing on Comcast again.
I finally decided to get a land line, not to use it for phone service,
but rather so I can enter the arena of DSL where companies
have to compete on the same playing field. In Pleasant Hill
Comcast seems to enjoy a monopoly in cable, as they do in
so many of the places they operate. I've decided to settle for
slightly slower internet where I can really shop around for
price. Comcast did a sudden price increase on me from
$28 to $61. So, even if you're really digging the Comcast
internet, realize that it won't be long before you have to send
back that modem and go through the hell of switching.
At least ATT lets you keep the modem, so that if you want
to switch back to them later, no modem hassles. So once
you buy the ATT modem, they tell me, it's really mine. No
"leasing" the modem. So what the heck, the land line only
costs like ten bucks if you don't call out on it much. Maybe
a few extra dollars tax. But it's cheap to get the line if you
don't have voicemail, which really starts racking up the bill.
So then, that way, DSL companies have to compete for
your business. For some reason cable companies are
often allowed monopolies. Just on principle, even if in
the end it costs a few more dollars, which I don't think it
will, I just don't like dealing with the attitude of monopolies.
I like being able to say I'll switch if my service gets bad.
Right now, Comcast knows that people who use cell
phones only are reluctant to go through the hassle of
starting land-line service, but it's worth it to not be under
the thumb of a monopoly.

Watch out for BargainLand, an Ebay liquidator, save yourself the nightmare!

This complaint is in regard to BargainLand, an Ebay retailer that is scamming thousands of people, including myself.

I have completed 150 different transactions between 5/7/05 and 6/21/05 by bidding on auctions this seller has on Ebay, spending a total of $2700. Half of the items I received were not as described, broken, ripped, not received or otherwise worthless and I am still awaiting (in vain) for refund/replacement.

This vendor is a liquidator, and they do warn buyers that the products they sell can come from many different venues: they could be customer returns, manufacture rejects or simply overstock merchandise.
They came up with a “star system” in which they are supposed to rate their merchandise between 1 and 5 stars, 1 being the lowest and 5 the best condition.

From reading customer feedback on Ebay I have learned that anything below 3 is pretty much junk, which is why all the items I purchased had rating of 4 (“like new”) or 5 stars (“in manufacture box”). Still, many of these items (50% to be exact) were definitely not as described. They describe their auctions “as is”, yet they fail to warn the customer about merchandise defects, defending themselves by saying that with over 10,000 auctions daily they can’t possibly test the merchandise accurately. Well then, I asked myself, what is the point of even giving a star rating if it’s not accurate?
Another deceiving tactic they use is to post a picture of the item from the manufacture’s professional photographer, but then selling an item in much worse condition than the one pictured.

The merchandise rating greatly determine how high the bids are going to be. If someone KNOWINGLY bids on a 2 star rating, they should know they’re taking a very high risk of receiving junk. However, when the merchandise has been described as “like new” and then is received completely smashed, one does not expect that, and certainly wouldn’t have bid so high.

This brings me to my next comment which is they claim insurance is optional and they’re not responsible for shipping damage, yet the insurance is not available upon check out unless the merchandise total (without the shipping) is more that $100. I would say 90% of their transactions are below that amount because they start at $.99, and therefore insurance is simply not offered. Trying to contact the seller to add this option is impossible, since they don’t answer their phone nor do they respond to e-mail (again, they justify that by saying “we sell 10,000 items per day, we don’t have time for customer service).
Several of the items I received (breakable Christmas ornaments) where carelessly thrown loose in a cardboard box without any kind of bubble paper, and were of course received broken in several pieces.
It occurred to me when I attempted to glue some of the pieces together that the broken pieces were not in the package. This indicates that the items where already broken when they left the warehouse, but sold “like new” or “in original manufacture box”. This had been confirmed by many other people, who have had similar experiences.

The shipping carriers they use alternate between DHL, UPS and FEDEX, probably to spread the amount of shipping claims on each individual carrier. Surprisingly the carriers haven’t figured out the scam, or maybe they just don’t care since they get so much business from BargainLand (who also has smaller facilities in Boca Raton, FL and Jackson Mississippi, and Germany).

It is obvious that BargainLand is an advantageous business to both Ebay and Paypal, which are normally known for standing behind their customers, but in the case of BargainLand they can’t/won’t help.

For example, for packages that are only partially received (meaning only some of the items arrived but not all that were paid for), neither Ebay nor Paypal won’t issue a partial refund, because some of the items were received.
Ebay protects up to $200 but the claim fee is $25. As a result thousands of transaction go unclaimed. It doesn’t matter that I cumulatively spent $2700, because every single transaction is considered individually.
I was therefore only able to claim but a few, and ripped off out of many

As I mentioned earlier, contacting this merchant about a problem will result in either being ignored or receiving a non-human automated response. Under their “refund policies” posted on their site, in the event the customer receives a “damaged” or “wrong” item, the customer is supposed to contact BargainLand for a RMA number. If the package is just sent back to them without a RMA number, they’re entitled to charge a 30% restocking fee.
However, to receive such required RMA number is impossible, since this vendor has very bad communication or rather lack there of.

I have been requesting a RMA number in several emails, but they never responded. It is obviously more lucrative for them not to give a RMA number.

Of all the problems I have had with BargainLand, I am particularly livid about some 40 gold necklaces I purchased. I should mention here that their shipping is among the slowest ever seen (it can literally take months for the merchandise to arrive, when it does arrive at all!). One would expect to receive the merchandise much faster, considering their shipping charges are outrageous (ex. $8.95 for a DVD, or $30 for a package that measures 10 x 6 x 3 with a weight of 1 lb -rounded up-).
So with the shipping being so slow, it took a long time for the first necklaces order I placed to reach me. When the package arrived and I opened it, I noticed the necklaces were not marked, like gold is supposed to be. So I took them to a jeweler to verify the authenticity, and I was informed the necklaces were gold plated at best, but definitely not gold.

When I contacted the seller about it, after many automated responses, finally a human (who didn’t sign the e-mail with any specific name) read my comments and responded that in the description of the necklaces there were never karats nor weight indicated, and that it was meant to say gold COLOR. He/she also added that bidding starts at $1.
Too bad, that’s not what their auction says, it just said GOLD. On the negative feedback left by other members, I later realized many people had the same problem.
As a buyer on Ebay I can only rely on a picture, and entrust that the company is advertising what they say they are. There’s no need to be a jeweler to know that gold is supposed to be marked. I find it very hard to believe the person entering information in the Ebay auction description could have not know that.

My rebuttal to their last e-mail was that I didn’t pay $1, in fact I paid between $15 and $41 (average was $35 for each set of 5 gold-plated necklaces), and I kept complaining about how the description was not as described.
After many more e-mails someone wrote back that I could apply “bargain bucks” to my next purchase, but didn’t specify in what amount and how to go about doing so. I didn’t trust somebody without a name (never did this person told me who I was dealing with) stating something so vague, and besides I do not want to buy anymore junk from this company, I just want my money back and send back their junk jewelry.

As of today 6/26/05 the problem with the necklaces has not been solved. I also never received 3 items from 5/16, 5/17, and 6/4, which they charged me for.
As mentioned above, Paypal and Ebay don’t help because partial shipment, and BargainLand doesn’t respond to emails nor phone calls.

Some of the automated responses I’ve got included messages such as “will have warehouse manager look into it” or “replacement is on its way”. That was one month ago, and they never wrote back ever since.

It is a good thing I always made these purchases with a credit card, and will attempt next to contact my c/c company. I can only feel for all those other customers who paid by check or money order, as they will never get their money nor merchandise back.

Someone really ought to put a stop to this fraudulent seller. They are guilty of:
·	Misrepresenting merchandise by posting picture of different item than the one sold
·	Lying to the customer by failing to state items has a problem or is damaged
·	Shipping out broken items and blame it on the shipping carrier
·	Charging outrageous shipping costs (often times more than the merchandise itself) to avoid sales taxes as well as Ebay commissions (strictly against Ebay rule)
·	Not offering shipping insurance unless item costs more than $100
·	Careless packaging
·	Refusing to offer refund/replacement
·	Leaving negative feedback on Ebay whenever ripped-off customers leave negative for them (regardless if customer is right). In this regards there have been instances in which BargainLand was able to “zero” someone’s feedback score, meaning for example a person had a feedback score of 200, they will reduce that number to zero.
·	Denying receiving e-mails from customers about problems with merchandise, even when such communication takes place though Ebay claims, in which each party is given 7 days to respond, and responses are monitored
·	Leaving positive feedback for themselves to minimize the negative and maintain a positive feedback of 88%, still very low for Ebay standards.

PayPal's merchant software screws vendors & buyers alike - I guess thats what they call "fair and equal trade"

If you are a merchant considering using PayPal - reconsider. You might never get your money, and you'll really piss off your customers when they get what I got - a big fat hassel. If you are a buyer that wants easy shopping, don't pay with PayPal.

Wow! I was under the dilusion thay PayPal was "on-the-ball" WRONG! I see that the genius mentality that founded them cashed out and scramed. Their merchant tools software I got trapped in was so badly written that all it did is screw the vendor out of their sale. It wouldn't take my money. NOTE: PayPal's purported business is "taking people's money". So "NOT" taking my money is a big deal. But who cares about them - what that really means is that I can't buy my loot. PayPal sucessfully stood between and my purchase, preventing commercial transaction - congratulations. Yo' mama would be proud.

You would think a company like Paypal would TEST their software before putting it in front of the public or offering it as a sales tool to merchants. I wonder how many merchants are running the same "buyers interface" I was using and how much lost revenue they are experiencing as a result. The worse part

of the experience though was PayPal's responce when I brought it to their attention. After all - only a hack posts financial transaction software "live" without debugging it, but it takes a real fool not to do anything about that serious issue once it's brought to their attention.

I was at a merchant site, (NOT OFF EBAY), found my loot and then I hit the "BUY" button. That's what makes America great. I was taken from their site to a paypal page where the merchant had set up their goods using Paypal's merchant tools. (item:book for a total of $34). I filled out the required data for paying by credit card and at the bottom of Paypal's form was one of those "captcha's" - the distorted alpha-nemeric pictures you have to "look" at and transcribe in order to prove you are a person and not a "bot". I then clicked the button to complete the transaction but their form returned an error. It returned the same error about a half dozen times before I gave up. PayPal's "captcha" refused to allow me to part with my money.

My transaction would not complete. I could not buy my stuff. The merchant could not get my money.

The merchant was out a sale and I was prohibited from buying my book. Their error explained that I had incorrectly transcribed the captcha. Yeah yeah - some of those are hard to read but 4 or 5 attempts were perfectly legible. Further - PayPal offers an audio file that "reads" the captcha to help people

who might have difficulties seeing them. Their audio file wasn't even close....apart from the crappy sound quality it sounded like a buddist chant version of reading licsence plates - and not even the same number of digits.

Now if you are a merchant - the last thing you want is someone standing between you and your money - and when you are a buyer - the last thing you want is someone standing between you & your getting your stuff and leaving, especially when the "stuff" is something totaly unique that only one place on the planet

carries - in this case, an eBook direct from the author.

Bottom line: Paypal's captcha engine is out of sync, and their employees are out of line.

I carefully documented the incident and notified paypal so they could correct the bad code and get people shopping again. PayPal reviewed my compaint and then informed me that I was sucessful in adding a new email to my account ,and maybe if I wasn't too feeble minded I would thus be able to login to my

account. Wha???? ...never mind that I hadn't had any problems logging in in the first place. I hadn't added anything to my account. If a new email was added it was on their side, and now I'm left wondering what email they added - could it be one of mine perhaps? - who knows?.

And multiple contacts later - they STILL haven't told me - and multiple contacts later their sales software is STILL BROKEN, their captcha is STILL BROKEN, their audio file(s) are STILL BROKEN, and the merchant had to set up an alternative mechanism to take money because the effort he had put into setting up

PayPal to take money was a big fat waste of his time. The only thing subsequently that I have received from PayPal is bollix off a script with links to

their "help login"where I maybe can get a tutorial on how to press a mouse button.

I do web design. The next client that asks me to set them up with PayPal is going to get a lesson in setting up their own merchant account at the bank of their choice. PAYPAL - YOU DONT SCREW WITH PEOPLES MONEY, AND YOU DONT INTERFERE WITH PEOPLES PURCHASES and then bollix them to dealth. AND PAYPAL - when

someone takes the time to explain a grevious error as such to you, you are supposed to respond INTELLIGENTLY, and TIMELY, and further, TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM. Because you know this merchant's PayPal customer interface is every Merchants PayPal customer interface for taking money. It's called a

"template" - they don't write unique code for each merchant. Multiply my ONE lost sale by every company that is set up with PayPal where someone choose to use a credit card. OUCH! - You can see the GNP shrinking. That sales volume staggers the imagination - poof - a lot of unhappy people taking their

business to someone else - someone with their own merchant account not using PayPal.

PayPal - You were supposed to the guiding light into the next generation of commerce - you got sloppy - and now you're just another hack standing in the dark waving a glow stick.

Beware of Keith Wilhoit of Alpha & Omega Construction in Asheboro, NC!!!!

We hired Keth Wilhoit of Alpha & Omega Construction on 3/20/06. He was contracted to renovate our attic and kitchen in preparation for our baby which is due at the end of June. Mr. Wilhoit assured us he would have all work finished long before the baby's due date. He declared that the project would take about three weeks. Mr. Wilhoit promised to show up for work and neither showed nor called to explain his absence, including several inexcusable weeks when he didn't bother to pick up the phone, email, communicate in any way whatsoever, leaving us absolutely clueless as to when and if he might be returning to finish the job for which he was contracted. Mr. Wilhoit also lied about applying for permits from the beginning. When no permits materialized after several weeks, we called the permit office herself to learn that Mr. Wilhoit had still not completed the necessary forms. At this point we have 3 weeks until the delivery date, an unfinished kitchen, and an unfinished and unusable attic. Mr. Wilhoit has made no attempt to rectify these issues. As a result, we urge others not to do business with him in any capacity!!!!

Now the entire thing has been deleted.
What's up with this censorship?

A former employer in my industry just joined to stalk me, and then I was asked to take over a tribe of 107 and was trolled and had much hate vented on me by some apparently on the receiving end of slander regarding moi, and I was kicked out of Extreme Honesty, because I outed two Tribers who had requested my phone number, called me, told everyone I was stalking them, then posted on Extreme Honesty, a tribe of 1200 people, defamation of character about me, specifically, that I was a stalker, clinically insane and other things which can never be undone. I warned both of them that if they didn't stop their public attacks on me, who is benovelant and innocent, I would mention this, and they continued. After I was kicked out of 'Extreme Honesty', they both told the TOU Guy I was harrassing them, and violating the anti hate policy.
Well, good people, there is no evidence of my ever expressing or inducing hate on Tribe, yet I have been attacked, I have lost money and may never recover credibility or employment venues, and there are many many hateful and prejudiced tribe and postings on Tribe.net.
I applaude these, though, because this is a free country with free speech, and internet stalking is stupid but rarely as dangerous as in real life. Probably better to have a good balance of real life and the internet, as there are non mythical nice men and women on both.
Thank you Tribe for all the good times and peeps!

Whever a shipper will only go UPS, it's horrible for me. They usually show up after 7PM, and last time 8:15PM, so I can't forward it to a friend or a businesses because they're all out to dinner or closed for the day. And UPS won't let you forward a missed package to a UPS store. So then one has to go on an bumpy, long MUNI ride to a bad neigborhood and wait in line at their horrid service center and then ride all the way back home or pay for a cab ride. I'd rather pay 50% more for shipping and not have to go through this. Fed Ex ground always seems to work out better, but not enough folks yet know that Fed Ex has cheap ground service, so all must continue to suffer with UPS.

Shleppers Moving - New York, New York

This is a complaint about Shleppers Moving and Storage, in New York, New York.

My wife and I recently used Shleppers to assist us in a move from Brooklyn to Jersey this past month. I had every expectation of the move going smoothly, as it did two years ago when I used Shleppers to move us from the Upper West Side to the Brooklyn address. As I was formerly a satisfied customer of Shleppers, I am quite shocked and upset about the experience I had during this recent move.

Their crew arrived on time and promptly began work. The move was going very well, in fact so well that the Shleppers Foreman mentioned to me that he was surprised it was going so fast (perhaps because I'm an expert packer by now). Before the move I had been told by the Shleppers Salesman that if the move was under the scheduled time of 5.5 hours for the crew, I would not be charged the full estimate I was given. Apparently their Foreman was quite aware of this policy as well, as the move soon came to a halt. I actually heard him tell his crew on two separate occasions to slow down, at one point screaming it at his crew down the stairs of my home in front of me. Selling a low estimate and then milking the move time is a very low end way to do business and easy for the client to see through; I'd recommend that Shleppers advise their associates against the practice.

Nonetheless I was determined to not be upset by the issue, nor was I upset by the constant bickering between their team. The Foreman decided early on that he hated one of the laborers, a fact he shared with everyone any chance he got. I was actually thinking in my mind of alternatives to finish the job with only three movers, in the event that one managed to kill the other. During the day I tried to keep everyone moving and happy, pitching in myself in moving the items and giving their movers two pieces of furniture to keep; one was a butchers block, the other was a wardrobe. Both pieces were less than two years old and the combined value was over $600. I then threw in a case of wine for them at that point as well. Once we arrived at my new home, I dealt with the bickering and tried to finish as quickly as possible. I thanked the Foreman for the job and handed him $100 in cash, instructing him to give each laborer $20 and keep $40 for himself.

The following morning on Sunday I received a phone call. It was from one of the moving crew, who wanted to know how much I had tipped them. I expressed surprise that he would actually be bold enough to call me. He informed me it was due to the crew's suspicion that the Foreman had kept some of their tip from them, as many Foremen in their company apparently do (his words, not mine). I told him that I had left $20 for him, to which he gave a long pause (just long enough to make me feel cheap and ungracious) and then said goodbye.

For about ten minutes it was a matter of shock to me that someone would actually call me early on a Sunday morning to question my generosity. The anger set in when I realized that the actual tip was in the neighborhood of $800, including the furniture and wine. An $800 tip on a $900 move should generate a call of thanks, not questioning whether or not there was more. I decided it was truly unacceptable when I looked at my cellphone and saw the same number had called me at 8:00pm the night before. This person clearly intended on calling until they reached me, to question how cheap I was. I decided to call Shleppers at that point to address the issue. I spoke with Ross in their dispatching office, who informed me that he would have their owner call me on the following Tuesday.

Tuesday came and went, as did Wednesday, Thursday and now Friday. No call. At that point I decided to write to the owner, more as an exercise to vent I suppose, rather than any hope that they would address this as a customer service issue. No response from the owner, their staff made it clear that I would not be hearing from her, as she ‘sometimes came to the office, but we don’t know when’ (their words, not mine). Either I was being lied to, or there was no leadership whatsoever regarding customer service with Shleppers, although I believe at this point that both scenarios are true.

Employment reneged after being offered

I was offered a contract position in a company called Gore Design Completions [http://www.goredesign.com/contacts.html ] in San Antonio, TX. I was so pleased to have a job after being let go two months earlier. I flew to San Antonio to check out the place. Guess what? I couldn't find it. None of their addresses can be located. When I returned, I was dismayed to find out they will not sign the papers. The reason cited is they wanted to wait for “the planes to arrive”. I’ve worked in two previous aerospace companies and had never heard anything like this. This is the first. It’s already been three weeks since being told I have a job at Gore Design, and I don’t have any paperwork confirming the offer. That they are willing to shelve a person’s future just to stay in schedule. The company must be very inflexible in many other things if they won’t even want to sign someone on to start work. Why they have to wait for some plane to come in first was never properly explained. Despite repeated demands for explanation. It just doesn’t sound right, or even sensible. Nor was I ever told when “the planes” are arriving. Against despite repeated demands.

As of now, I have no job. They refused to sign the papers. So I’m back to being unemployed. All the money spent was wasted. Time wasted. Opportunity wasted too. While I was carrying the torch for Gore Design, all other opportunities that I could have taken were filled up. I was lied to about the job offer.

I am very disappointed in the way the company has treated prospective employees. I will do everything within my (limited) means to inform anyone looking for a job not to find it in Gore Design Completions.

TalkTalk - Carphone Warehouse : AN OPEN LETTER TO CHARLES DUNSTONE...

Dear Charlie,

We get told during induction training how great this company is and how employees are treated well. We’ve heard from our 'board' many times, of how awful Phones4U are, how they treat their employees terribly, how they demand so much and how they treat their customers with such contempt. Just look around Mr Dunstone because it’s all happening here!

A number of employees have now contacted a union and are now urging our colleagues to join. The Communication Workers Union (CWU) is a highly effective union and focuses on the communications industry of which Carphone Warehouse is a part. Colleagues should join forces under the union and let CWU officially represent the workforce in dealing with management. We can only benefit from getting better fairer working conditions, fairer realistic targets, fairer bonus schemes, better health and safety practice, and in some cases coming in line with regulations that are not even bothered with!

Getting busy due to launching Free Broadband deals should not be an excuse for management to become unreasonable and over demanding. It’s okay admitting there is a need for upping staff and that this is ‘ongoing’, but knowing this to be the issue and then turn around and increase workload for existing staff – being stricter on targets and threatening disciplinaries is ridiculous!

Instore Staff had mobiles as their area of expertise and now deal with TalkTalk Landline and Broadband. Contact Centre Staff have silly call targets, how can they adhere to a scheduled break and lunch times when it’s unrealistic to control how long a customer is going to spend wanting help or fixing a problem… for the same reason how is it realistic to expect 3-6 minute calls and getting at least 10 calls an hour considering the nature of customers and the amount of problems this company creates of its own back! Besides what would a customer with his 20 questions think, if we told him “manager says we’ve only got 5 minutes!” – not much ‘First Contact Delight’ is there Charles? (Sorry, did we just here you scratching off those Five Fundamentals with your finger nails?)

Is it fair to lose out on bonus payments because they spent a little more time with our customers or did not take a ‘scheduled’ break on time because they were talking to a customer who had a problem created by the company!

Back to those scheduled breaks, why can’t Contact Centre Staff have more say over when we take them as recommended for Display Screen users or to take 5 mins every hour or 15 mins every two hours… since it can go up to 3 hours or more without a break according to the BP ‘schedule’. In fact why is there no consultation arrangement with staff on any health and safety issue (since it’s the law)?

It’s not surprising after all this (which is just the tip of the iceberg mind) that the HR Director in Warrington is avoiding talks with the Communication Workers Union.

Our glossy Staff Handbooks says the Five Fundamentals apply when we deal with each other too. So just to make it clear Charles this is not the way we would like to be treated. When it was boasted about how great this company is and the way it treats employees it was actually an over promise and under deliver. It’s looking more and more like you’re losing the argument, because if you’re not looking after us the Communication Workers Union will.

“CCCRRAASHH!!!” (That was just Charles taking a sledge hammer to the 5 Fundamentals…)

July 14, 2006 ABC News -- Vincent Ferrari was an America Online loyalist. For years it was his only portal to the Internet. AOL even helped him meet his wife.

"I had been an AOL customer for a long time," Ferrari said. "[But] I figured there were better ways to spend 15 bucks a month, so I decided to cancel the account."

AOL has been hemorrhaging hundreds of thousands of customers, and Ferrari, an avid blogger with his own website, says he heard a common refrain while on-line.

"There has always been this rumor that AOL was really hard to cancel," Ferrari said. "So one way or another I figured I'd prove either it was or it wasn't and I'd end up with something interesting to put up on my site."

Vincent turned on his recorder and then placed the call. The exchange went something like this:

AOL REPRESENTATIVE: Hi this is John at AOL... how may I help you today?

VINCENT FERRARI: I wanted to cancel my account.

A good way to start, but the recording went on:

AOL: What was the cause of wanting to turn this off today?

FERRARI: I just don't use it anymore.

AOL: Well, actually I'm showing a lot of usage on this account.

FERRARI: Yeah, a long time, a long time ago, not recently...

AOL: Okay, I mean is there a problem with the software itself?

FERRARI: No. I just don't use it, I don't need it, I don't want it. I just don't need it anymore.

After an extended exchange, Ferrari tried to made it simple.

VINCENT: Cancel my account...

AOL: Turning off your account...

VINCENT: ...cancel the account...

AOL: ...would be the worst thing that...

VINCENT: ...cancel the account.

AOL: Okay, cause I'm just trying to figure out...

VINCENT: Cancel the account. I don't know how to make this any clearer for you. Cancel the account. When I say cancel the account, I don't mean help me figure out how to keep it, I mean cancel the account.

AOL: Alright, some day when you calmed down you're gonna realize that all I was trying to do was help you... and it was actually in your best interest to listen to me.

VINCENT: Wonderful.

Total call time? Over 20 minutes. Vincent posted the recording on his website, and responses flooded in. Soon Ferrari and his recording were everywhere. The poster boy for a burgeoning new form of consumer advocacy. A grassroots movement of sharing information through Internet blogs, audio and video files.

T-Mobile sucks

Whilst on holiday in Romania in July this year, I had my phone stolen from me on a bus.

There is no T Mobile in Romania so I went to a czbercafew to report the theft to T Mobile giving the name of my company and my address. It was Saturday.

When I got back to Budapest I went to a T Mobile shoip, explained the situation and bought a new handset. Later I found I could not make outgoing calls because the thieves had run uip a lovely debt for me on my account.

T Mobile said the email service was shut on Saturdays but they said thaey would track my letter.

They did, only to tell me that I should have sent my password and tel no. I said I thought the password was secret. They insisted I should have rung them to explain the situation and I asked how I could do that without a handset, from a foreign country. But in a very patronising tone I was told it was all my fault I had the debt and I would have to pay it.

I was sent a threatening letter telling me to pay up within the week or I would lose all incoming calls too. A nice guy at the shop suggested I pay it but write a letter of complaint aslking them to waive at least som,e of the fine, he did actually sede the difficulty of being robbed in a foreign country when already living in a foreign country, but I still got a patronsing letter back telling me 'all information was available' to follow procedures correctly and they stillwould not waver from their position. My complaints on email were answered by intelligible letters in gibberish, despite my asking them to send me the letter in a format my PC could cope withm ore than once.

I lost over two hundred pounds thanks to this, but it seems that T MObile are more than happy to make profit from crime and treat bona-fide customers like shit. Neeldless to say I cancelled my subscription with them at the earliest opportunity - they could have kept my custom for years, as a constant number and taxable expense would otherwise have been good for me.

T Mobile? T Mob more like it. Hope they keep on fattening their profits on subscription phone theft Very nice.

I also plan to stay strictly with Pay As You Go systems.

Me: "I ust got back from my trip to find that you cashed my check to you on May x and have charged my account as being late, raised my interest rates to 28%, and given me a late charge plus interest. I sent the check in mid-April..."
Them: "Let me check your account. (pause) We cashed your check on May 4."
"Yes, I know...that's what I'm calling about--you have over $40 in late charges and financing fees on my current acount..."
"We cash checks within 24 hours of recieving them."
"I was on a trip and so I sent in my check on time after calling and finding my balance due."
"Did you include your payment slip?"
"Noooo...I was travelling."
"It takes 24 hours to cash the check."
"Right. When did you recieve the check."
"It takes longer to process if there is no reciept."
"Yes, I suspect that is true. However, you said that you cash checks within 24 hours of recieiving them."
"How can I help you, sir?"
"I want to know when you recieved my check."
"It does take longer to process..."
"Right. But you said it only takes 24 hours between when it is recieved and it is cashed. When did you recieve the check? You are supposed to process it in 24 hours."
"Sir, I'm removing the charges and fees and crediting your account...can I help you any further, sir?"

So, my question is...what the F gives?! At least I'm not out $40+ due to some incompetence down at USPank...but I'm just sayin'!

Skype Temporary Miracle

By the way, with a simple USB mike and an ordinary pair of headphones, you all can go to skype on the internet and download their software for free, and make solid quality calls all over the US and Canada free. I no longer have land lines from all the sucky telephone and cable providers who are mostly evil monopolies. Now I'm down to cell phone for getting calls in. Then I call them back on skype where it's all free. I fired evil SBC ATT who suck and are evil and who are just players and manipulators and weasels. How great to fire Bell or SBC or ATT or MCI or whoever, who are all just friggin totally schemers. Kwest and all that shit. The complaints ab out how much money they cost and how immoral they are. It's so great to just pay nothing at all to call out all over the country and not give a cent to SBC, those sucky worms. True that SBC and the Cable companies and the Bells or whoever will all eventually ruin the internet by doing the selective charging and thus probably reestablish their evil Darth Vader like monopolies. But those bills which they are buying from our congress, literally usually just calling the congressmen and dictating the terms, of course all driven by sleazy campain contributions, well they're making their way through congress, and will probabaly pass, since our congress literally is just a giant corporation puppet regime. However, just for now, one can fuck over all the phone companies and do skype. Ah how beautifu to call everyone for free, but even more glorious, not to give a cent to the moral dwarves the spiritual midgets at SBC.

Bottom Line... Burton Construction took my money promising to repair my roof, then never came back. Even after repeated phone calls and many broken appointments and promises, they simply would NOT deliver. They have a CA General Contractor License Number 587723, phone number 661-944-3359, at 36821 94th East, Littlerock, CA 93543.

They responded to my emergency repair call to a leak after a rainstorm, and at that time I paid for additonal, more final, work to be done within the week. I ended up performing the work myself while they kept my money.

Yeah, it felt so good to go mobile phone and skype phone only. (I don't make many calls or get too many and there I was paying for three phones. I'd never had the guts to cut the wire, but now I'm oh so glad I did. I always hated their arrogant customer service rules. And truly they had the most annoying call center phone menus. The menus never had the right answer and put you through hell to get to an operator. And every time I needed them to bend a little or be flexible in any way, all they'd do is come up with more service charges. I'm now on plans with skype and with virgin mobile where there's no activation fee, no disconnect fee, only one tax and that's sales tax, and no friggin six page long phone bills where the charges and fees and surcharges and taxes upon taxes get laid out in complex series. Plus, no more $9 per month just to have voicemail. Voicemail comes free with cellphones. Plus no monthly fee just to have the line. I just pay for my minutes, and I don't use many anyhow, and the thing ends up just as cheap as a land line, but now with the freedom to be reached anywhere, should anyone want to reach me, which, now that I'm not good for any worldly purpose, hardly anyone does.

Yeah, the bicycle shop has gotten my chops. I go in there before Christmas and order a helmet--they say, "It'll be in in three weeks--we'll call you." I pay for the helmet. Three weeks roll around--nothing. I go in and ask how my order is doing. Turns out its sitting in a pile of things to order and has nothing has been done. The cashier is apologetic, takes down some notes and my name to have the guy filling orders give me a call to tell me what the status is. I wait a week--nothing. I wait a few more days--nothing. Today I go in again and ask what the status is again on my order. The cashier goes to the back and tells me that the purchaser will talk to me but he's on the phone. I wait around for 20 minutes waiting for someone to show on the floor to talk to me. Nothing. I go back to the cashier and ask "What's up?" He goes in the back again, comes back, and tells me to go back and talk to the purchaser. I go back there. There's this punked out guy on the phone. He says "Can I help you?" I introduce myself and explain the situation. He goes "Yeah, I'm just about to order all the helmets--I don't order one helmet but wait til we need a large order...the (helmet) company requires a large order to be placed. We don't order individual helmets." I say "So when will I be getting my helmet? Its been over a month and you are telling me that you have not ordered it yet!" He's like "Yeh, that's the way it it." So, I ask him why no one called me to explain the situation. He's like, sorry, this is a collective. We can't control our employees. I get angrier and angrier talking to this guy. The more I think about it, the more I realize that he is dicking with me. Everyone I've talked to up to this point is reasonable and trying to help me. This guy is not. He's basically acting like too bad on the service you recieved. I'm like, hey, who is responsible for this major screwing with a customer? He's like, hey, you want your money back?! And I'm like, what I'd like is for someone here to take responsibility for the mess up of my order, for not contacting me, and for not telling me what the situation was, like its some sort of joke to take my money, tell me I'll get my helmet in three weeks and then act like it doesn't matter and that's the way life is. I want to here that someone here takes things seriously when customers have handed over their money. I want you to talk to the people on the floor about this situation and I want to feel that your business is actually reasonably trying to work with customers, rather than how your store has treated my order. He's like, do you want me to give you your money back? I'm like resigned to saying no, I don't want it back, what I want is my #$%^#%$^@ (I didn't swear but I was on the edge, that's for sure) helmet!! "You'll get it in a week and a half." I'm guessing about two months. To get a helmet. That was a gift from a friend. From a store that up until that time I was feeling was a decent place. But, you know, come to think of it, it wasn't the floor people, it wasn't the sales people, no, it was that guy, the lazy guy who couldn't be bothered to call me, who thought it wasn't his responsiblity to be polite or conciliatory to someone who had given their money in good faith, who didn't want to know why I was there and was upset and didn't really care either, who thought it was no one's responsibility to be a decent person or to follow up with customers. He was in an organization where he felt that no one could be held him to any decent standard of service. And, for that, I'm not happy. And I will not be recommending that anyone order anything from these folks from now on. The rat bastard is making the customers and the staff suffer because he is a lazy slug. And that's why collectives have to be attentive like that guy was not--because people like that take advantage of collectives by maintaining that since responsibility is diluted that they themselves do not have to be responsive or responsible. That #%^##head!

Half the world mediating the other half to realize positivity exists, is half of life and an arguement can escalate, or finding evidence and making a case to half the world, that although many things decrease in quality with time, the world overall, gets better and better, albeit, too slow for most of us to notice or feel relief.

What is wrong with this world? Most people do not display the type of courtesies or consideration for other people. Growing up, this was called self respect, self discipline and mutual respect for other human beings. I live in a townhome where it is now the expectation that people will play their music at any time and any volume they feel necessary. If you complain about it, they tell you the truth... there's nothing you can do about it. I don't expect to live close to others and hear the whistling of the wind, but not having to turn my TV up to the Garrett Morris school for the deaf volume would be nice. We won't even discuss the discos in cars which drive by (very slowly), but hey, maybe they just wanna share their wonderful noise with everyone. Sharing is good, right? Thanks but no thanks. I would like to start a society for the promotion of peace and quiet, but I wonder if that would somehow be politically incorrect - eh what the he..! No one else seems to care, they just wanna listen to their NOISE no matter the cost. I say we give them their cigarettes back. The smoke is a killer, but at least it's quiet. My point, and I do have one is that people need to remember the golden rule (do unto others). And in the meantime, maybe parents could do some actual parenting and teach their kids not to be the inconsiderate jerks in this world, of which we already have too many.

KK music store & Ebay letting Fraud go on

KK Music Store, Ebay, Celicio Instrument Company Fraud, misrepresentation, defective trumpet.

Company
KK Music Store, Ebay, Celicio Instrument Company
Address:
2550 Corporate Place, C105.
Monterey Park California 91754
U.S.A.
Phone Number:
877-262-8880

KK Music Store (Ebay Power Seller) sold me a Pocket Trumpet then sent me a defective model. I sent emails back to them with clear instructions what not to send me under any circumstances they agreed. I returned the defective trumpet then they sent me another defective model. Said they would refund my money but I'd have to pay their shipping & handling costs $30 plus approx $17 of my own money to ship it back.

Company is selling Trumpets which have outside lacquer
inside valve chambers to unsuspecting students who don't
know any better. They say the reason the outside lacquer is inside the valve chambers is for looks which is
absurd.

Ebay now knows this is happening & does nothing they claim they are a neutral 3rd party. Here's one of my
last emails to them:

Since you refuse to let me bring my bogus trumpet from KK
music to you. If you are serious on investigating this matter just ask KK Music to send you a blue pocket trumpet and open up one of the valves then you will see blue lacquer in the valve chambers which no way does it belong there under any circumstances! To allow KK Music to continue to sell this junk (unless they sell it as that) & ebay to make money off it is Criminal.. literally!

Victims of KK MUSIC DESERVE NOTHING LESS THAN TO BE
INFORMED OF WHAT YOUR INVESTIGATION (YOU CLAIM
YOU ARE DOING) FINDS OR ITS MEANINGLESS AND IS JUST
B.S.

I already have complete evidence of Fraud: The Trumpet &
emails correspondence from KK Music which proves it! You
have no excuse to let this continue and ebay is a co
conspirator by collecting funds from KK Music. No matter
what your guidelines are or that you state you are just 3rd disinterested party.. etc... etc.. you are making money from Internet Fraud.
This is one of those places that says one thing and does another. They try and pretend that they have core values, but the only value they have is making money. This company has many former employees who have had similar problems and have started a website .

Shaku Shotoko, that consummate griper, complainer and general rabble-rouser and the Zen Buddhist Scoundrels, are throwing a wing-ding. This is a beautiful environment in which to drown our sorrows regarding the vile corporate world in which we live.
This is the coolest cafe-bar-ambient atmosphere. We'll feel right at home here, sitting in first-class surroundings, getting slowly sloshed, groping friends and neighbors, shooting pool, philosophizing, and generally saying things we'll be embarrassed about in the morning.

The top 15 complaints of the modern day vampire :-

15) Grunge look makes it tough to tell living from the undead.
14) Nutrasweet or not, fat-free blood tastes like crap.
13) Hard to get a decent puncture with latex on your fangs.
12) Three Words: Daylight Savings Time
11) Thanks to all those Marilyn Manson fans, we just aren't taken seriously any more.
10) After 45 years of Communist rule, it's impossible to find clean, uncontaminated Transylvanian soil for bottom of coffin.
9) After 100 years of trying, still can't score with Elvira.
8) No bat is safe with Ozzy Ozbourne around.
7) With all those crucifix-wearing Madonna clones, junior highs are suddenly off-limits.
6) No warm blood for miles around DC.
5) Exhausted from all those Calvin Klein photo shoots.
4) Sick and tired of being mistaken for Keith Richards
3) Buxom wenches of old have been replaced by aerobicized "hardbodies."
2) Baboon heart makes everything taste gamey.
And the number 1 complaint of Modern-day Vampires:

1) No small task beating F. Lee Bailey to a warm body.

E-mail harrassment

I just received four unsolicited e-mails from an inker for a major comic book company, who not only owes me much money for eleven years of my service, but he orginally sent e-mails as a friend, then took all the information I naively gave him, and called up the major publisher I had been speaking to about work for 16 years, and seriously for 6 months. I have received a lifetime ban from this company, and I am still being harrassed by this individual.
Fortunately, my life is solid again, by moving on to more creative and cool comic companies, and 'sigh' supplementing the lower pay with day jobs.
This person warned me never to trust anyone and never to give out information. I have never lived my life like this, but I learned from him, by losing millions, never to trust him and never to tell him anything.
He also repeatedly brought up a falling out I had with a beautiful woman, accused me of stalking her and continues to tell anyone who will listen about this. He has just been studying my website to prevent me from 'stalking' any further.
My lawyer asked if I was happy to leave high school for mainstream comics, and I wanted to cry.

Hey, I'm new here, but I want to get the word out to everyone who will listen.
I am a fan, and joined the fan club - cost $29.95 US. Part of the fan club is a message board. The way it's run is bottom line TERRIBLE! They use 'fellow fan club members' as moderators. They show a great deal of favouritism to their friends. They don't give you any warnings whatsoever if you 'violate' their very subjective "Terms Of Use". What they do instead is let you post away and then wait until they've gathered sufficient 'evidence' against you and then ban you and won't even negotiate. I had tried to get answers as to why no warnings were given and my questions went unanswered.
If you are a person who thinks differently or has your own opinion, the Clay Fan Club board is NOT the place for you! The administration/moderating team does NOT give you a fair shake, does NOT give you proper warnings if you break the rules and to add insult to injury, they make up stories about you to make you look bad.

DO NOT JOIN THIS FAN CLUB!

2) Their customer service is in India, so the only way to get support is to email, but do not bother, because they have a practice of not answering any emails
3) They seriously need to be taught an economic lesson for screwing people over and not giving a shit about it at all...

So I went on Google, and I finally got it just how deeply fake the key-word bullshit is. Essentially, 95% of the search engine stuff is just nothing but the same ten advertisers in each field, dominating it totally, hogging up multiple-domains and making themselves unavoidable, thus ruining the whole cause for searching, which was to get around the mega-corporation jerks in the first place.

Don't rent from Enterprise, they are downright OBNOXIOUS and don't do what they say they will! Not only did they refuse to go back and pick my husband up after they had missed him at the pickup spot, but the manager was exceedingly rude to me on the phone, put me on hold, and then actually CALLED the garage (while I was holding) where my hubby was to tell him they wouldn't send a car again because I had been rude!!! They left my man stranded over 3 1/2 hours away from home after he'd been in a car accident! I will NEVER call them again.

Cingular Wireless despicable policies

The following information is my opinion and my experience with Cingular Wireless, which is by far the worst cell phone provider I have ever had.

Since I started service with them in August 2004, I have had NUMEROUS problems with my voice mail. Instead of my recorded greeting, people calling me would get a message saying “the subscriber is not available right now, please try your call again later”. As a result of this I have lost a large amount of business, since my cell phone is my advertised phone number.

I have contacted customer service and technical support on every occurrence and there never seemed to be a logical explanation as to why the problem kept reoccurring. Every employee had a different version of the story as to why my voice mail didn’t work, but NONE of them solved my problem.

I had been told that is because I initiated service in Florida, but then moved to California (isn’t a National plan supposed to work anywhere in the States?). Then someone else said that my “pilot number” programmed for my voice mail wasn’t the correct one (so why didn’t they fix it?). I have even been told that it was because I didn’t powered off my phone every day to allow time to reprogram. I tried that and it didn’t make a difference.

During one of my last conversations with technical support I made it very clear that if the problem persisted I would have to close the account, because Cingular was obviously unable to provide me with voice mail.
My discontent was bad enough that I was willing to be charged a service interruption fee, which is in my opinion, a bad excuse for not been able to keep their customers otherwise.

What sent me through the roof thou was the customer service rep telling me that my last month service payment was not refundable. Since Cingular bills in advance, I have used 3 days out of the 30 I have been charged for, and no amount of complaint letters seem to make any difference in their criminal policies.

Cingular is one of many arrogant corporations that is forgetting that it’s us, the consumers, that turned them into the biggest cell phone company in the U.S. and WE ARE PAYING THEIR SALARIES.

If you got screwed by Cingular as well, please voice your opinion and tell your story so others won’t be taken for fools too.

http://www.smartermall.com/

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I ordered a replacement USB cable for my Vivitar 3330 digital camera. The price was the cheapest I could find on the web and the website seem professional enough so I mad my purchase.

I should have realized something was wrong when the started e-mailing me incorrect delivery information. Eventually I had to drive over an hour and pay a fee just to pick-up my cable.

Then... it was the wrong cable. (Despite telling them of this, their website still contains the wrong information).

I sent several e-mails to their customer services department most of which were ignored. I posted back the cable to them and awaiting my refund.

It never came.

It has been over three months since I first ordered the cable and still no refund. I'm constantly e-mailing the company to find out what has happened but most e-mails go unanswered. When they do reply it is some generic e-mail saying "We will refund your credit card when the item has been returned"

I have asked for contact details to make a complaint, but all those e-mails have been ignored.

The whole ordeal has felt like I've been scammed. My next course of action is to report them to my credit card company and get a refund from them.

If you want to order anything from this website - DON'T! It may seem cheaper, but it will give you many headaches in the long-run.

UPS San Francisco Service Sucks

UPS sucks. They have no pickup stations downtown, and if you're residential they put you off till seven thirty at night. When you finally give up, then they come and leave a note.

If the merchant doesn't give you a tracking number, they won't look up your shipment. They fake like they don't know how to cross-referrence and address and a shipment.

The drivers have no radios, only text messengers, which they may or may not ignore. And you end up having to chase the truck around trying to flag him down if he's still in your neighborhood, or you end up paying a mailbox store to receive it.

Whenever possible, use Fed Ex Ground. They only cost about two bucks more and they have pickup offices all over the place and have a way better attitude and are way more innovative in customer service.

I thought competition was supposed to improve services!

I thought competition was supposed to improve services! Yet I'm costantly seeing slow, slow, slow services everywhere. For example, I go to the bank and the line doesn't move for the five or ten minutes I'm there. I had leave before I could do any business there because the rest of the world wasn't going to go on hold until I got out of the bank. This, of course, has further encouraged my desire to close my account at this slow and crappy bank. And if thousands of others have the same idea, then that bank is very likely going to lose a lot of customers. So instead of doing what it it takes to keep those customers (by speeding up their services), they are going to stay low and inefficient. That kind of makes sense with the post office since they don't have any competion (Or do they?). But why would this bank, by means of its slow, slow service, practically tell their customers to go to their competitors?!

In this so-called "21st century", it seems like everything is backward. So instead of competion encouraging improved services, it does the opposite. I havce sen the Bizarro World, and the Bizarro World is us!

Holidays are stupid!

Life goes on, but holidays ruin it further. I mean, I frequently have business to conduct whether or not it's a holiday. But because of lazy no-good bums, I have to put my plans on hold because of the OVER-ABUNDANCE of holidays. For example, I needed to go to the library to print out some computer art I did for my comic book Adventures in the Superfuture! Because of Thanksgiving, I had to wait several days to print out those pages because the libraries inconveniently closed!

There are too many holidays in my opinion! And the holiday problem is putting me further behind schedule on projects. I find it titanically offensive that I have to modify my life because of the over-abunfnance of holidays. How about letting folks who want to celebrate holidays celebrate them and letting those of use who want to work on hoiliday work on holidays? "Oh but that would be too impractical." Whatever. But I still hate holidays!

Here in the so-called "21st century", most businesses seem to conduct their business at a super-slow snail's pace. I went to the bank yesterday to withdraw a few bucks, yet it took way longer than it should for me to get that done. Then there's the famously infamous slowness of the Post Office. And computer services at Detroit public libraries seems to be slowing down too despite the fact that they have NEW COMPUTERS! Indeed, I've got tons more to say on this. But I think I'll have to mention it later. (Not enough time due to slow, slow businesses!)

Unfair Friends

Does this ever happen to you? You go to a person you care about, friend, lover or whatever, and you have doubts, fears, anger and all this sort of thing about the world, life, people, and you're bummed about the unfairness of it all, and so on. And you think it's okay to talk with them about your own baggage because they've been spilling out their guts with you for months. And so for years you hang out with them while they cry and rage or get whatever it is out of their system, and you accept them totally. But then, when it's your turn to have someone be on your side against the world, they just blame you. So that a dynamic is set up where if they complain about their problems, that is, if they engage in a solid amount of whining, it's seemingly acceptable, but then when you need to whine and get some sympathy, then they just have no patience for it at all. I'm tired of this scam being played on me where people get tons of time bending my ear about the most sordid things and the most inexcusable behavior on their part, then when I have just a day or an hour of fear, insecurity, or self-loathing, then they just shut me down. I'm sort of in shock right now because I just went to a gal's house where she was weepy all night last time I saw her, and was whining most vociferously about her relationship problems and the evils of men and so on, and then I complained about my problems with dating and the shitty stuff that happens to men, and then she basically tells me to shut up. I hate it when I'm taken advantage of that way. I've got to stop falling for such things.
